# PMQ O&G - Coastal location, new hospital - About 750 births/yr - Bosses mostly supportive, some reluctant to come in and live 25 mins away. You call them for operative deliveries but expect you to be comfortable with most procedures so perhaps more for PGY4+ - Accomodation is ok but they had me staying 11 minutes drive away which is too far for O&G in my opinion. - There is a little Registrar room with a bed on site though and facilities are good at the hospital - Currently weekend on call is 0730 Friday to Monday (72hrs!) but they are looking to break this up. - Can be quite busy. Hourly rate low for amount of work.
