Overall enjoyed my brief time at Mur-bah - it was a short placement but felt well supported during daytime hours by registrars. I worked on the Gen Med ward, and in the evenings covered the ward and the rehab ward as well. It was very chill overall, with minimal after hours jobs with only the occasional cannula or clincial review. In the evenings there is a physician on call who is usually happy to be called, and can call the ED in charge for assistance if required. Overall enjoyed my time there and would happily go back. I stayed in an airbnb approx 10 minutes drive away which worked well!
